Event Details

The Tully Free is hosting the third annual Science Fair for students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Students from surrounding areas are welcome to participate. Participation is free and parents are encouraged to attend all events and help their kids with their projects. Each student who registers will receive a tri-fold presentation board for their project. 

Saturday, March 4 from 11:30 AM - 1 PM join us for our Pizza Party Kick-Off with "Fizz, Boom, Amaze" from The MOST (Museum of Science and Technology)Ever wondered why Pop Rocks pop and soda goes fizz? The MOST brings you an exciting selection of experiments, many using ordinary household products, that fizz, boom, and pop. You’ll be dazzled as you learn the science behind a Mentos geyser, CO2 sandwich, and popping film canisters. We'll also have information about how to join the Science Fair! PIZZA WILL BE SERVED! Please register online or at the library. 

Wednesday, March 8 from 3-6 PM is the Research Night & Registration Deadline at the library. Register for the Fair, get your tri-fold presentation board, and get research help from library staff.

SCIENCE FAIR on Saturday, April 1! Open to the public from 3-5 PM (from 2:30-3 PM is judges only)
